You might have noticed that I have been making some small changes to the site. For those of you that are oblivious to these types of things, here's a list:
The search bar is gone, cause it was useless.
I moved the adsense crap up to make room for the new following section.
I've added NetworkedBlogs and BlogCatalog under the Followers and Friends section
Changed my profile pic because NetworkedBlogs insisted on using my facebook picture. Now the world can see my big nose and long manly hair.
Tried linking my blog to Facebook, which linked it to Twitter. I have no clue what I did, but it should be interesting to see what happens.
Time for a little rant on these changes. I don't know a whole lot about these new following network thingies. The NetworkedBlog thing uses facebook, I think. But you don't have to be my friend to follow? Fuck if I know. Follow it if you want, I'm just trying to get some more viewers to share in my quest. If you know about this thing, let me know.
The BlogCatalog is worthless from what I can tell, and I'll probably end up removing it. It appears that you need to pay a monthly fee if you actually want it to do anything, which would have been nice to know before I wasted my time with it. Again, if you know something that I don't, let me know.
I would rant about adsense giving me ads that have NOTHING to do with my niche or target audience, but there really is no point. I've learned to accept it.
As for the whole twitter thing, I have no fucking clue what's going on. I forgot I even had a twitter until it popped up while I was setting up the NetworkedBlog thing. Supposedly, it's going to shoot my blogs to twitter and facebook, for what reason, I do not know, but whatever.
And finally, my profile picture. Yeah, that's me. I'm not the 500 pound Nintendo King from my last profile picture. Sorry to disappoint.
And as always with these kinds of posts, if you have any suggestions...let me know. Coming up next: An American Tail - Fievel Goes West. Joy.
